Guests starting to arrive

Steven walking Becky to her seat

All the guests waiting for Sarah to walk down the isle

Grandparents waiting

Bridesmaids waiting

Chad waiting for his bride...

The families "tied the knot" (someone else could explain that better...ask Becky)

Mr & Mrs. Chad Miller!! (And yes, Steven wore his sunglasses on his head through the entire ceremony :)

Brides cake and grooms cake (yup, grooms cake is a plate of double stuffed Oreo cookies with Dr. Peppers around it!)

Yup, we fit enough tables to seat 200 + people in their backyard - it was a squeeze, but we did it. I was serving cake and a lot of people said "I'll take as many pieces as I can carry - no one at my table can get up!"

So a year and a half later...... the tying of the knot represented a few things. Not only tying two families together, but Chad and I both have boy scout backgrounds (thanks dad) and having learned the fisherman's knot, it was a way of letting God unite us to help us be fishers of men. So, we tied our families, our history, and our beliefs into one rope which is now bound around itself and a piece of wood hanging in our foyer. It's an image that had a lot of layers to it and I totally forgot about giving any explanation of this at the wedding.
